Referral Sheets - unleash the power of your customers

The MOST effective ADVERTISING, is ironically, the LEAST expensive.

This is the Power of Word of Mouth.

And the best word of mouth advertising is when your customer receives your Five-Star Service and share their experience with their family and friends.

Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, said it well; “If you do build a great experience, customers tell each other about that. Word of mouth is very powerful.”

Thus, customer referrals are key to marketing your business; it is very life blood of what will make you successful.

Referral sheets should be a major component of your total marketing plan used via Direct Mail, within your Brochures, Info-products, Invoices, and at the Back-end of your transactions with clients. With strategically placement on your business’s Web page, Facebook, as well as a part of your company’s print and online newsletters and email campaigns.

Build your Referral Sheets with incentives, to gamifying it. Gamification gives your customers rewards –points, gifts, coupons and/or cash– for each referral that brings about a customer conversion/sale. If a point system is used, you can give them a cash value for a number of their points (like 100 points = $1).

With these techniques, you can quickly increase your referrals by 100%.

And if turned into an ongoing practice, you can quickly build your business organically with people who care not only for your service, but your business overall.

Just remember, asking for referrals is the rule, not an exception, and should be done regularly. Your referral program should be highlighted during your initial customer interaction, after/during each additional experience with this customer and requested when you know for a fact that they are satisfied.
